Private taxi from Colombo: where we go and how it works

Car, Van or Mini Bus?
The price is for the whole vehicle, not per person, so choose by the size of your group and how much you carry:
- Car: up to 3 passengers, 3 suitcases and 3 backpacks.
- Van: up to 7 passengers, 7 suitcases and 7 backpacks.
- Mini Bus: up to 12 passengers, 12 suitcases and 12 backpacks.
A full vehicle often works out cheaper per person. From Colombo to Ella, 3 people in a car pay about LKR 10,670 each (LKR 32,000 for the car); 7 people in a van pay about LKR 8,570 each (LKR 60,000 for the van).
How booking works
- Enter your pick-up and drop-off, the date and time, and how many adults, children, suitcases and backpacks.
- Choose a vehicle. Each one shows its price for your date.
- Add your name, email and phone, and your flight number if we're meeting a plane or taking you to one.
- Send your booking. Our office confirms it by email.
Once your trip is confirmed, your driver's name and the car's registration are in My bookings. Book at least 24 hours before you travel; you can book up to a year ahead.
Going somewhere that isn't listed?
